When it comes to beauty products, our team has collectively proven a batch over time. Some of the products with a level of effectiveness that surprised us the most were the ones we first received as a sample. We all tend to try so many of the samples that come as a complement to our various beauty product orders, however, very few of them we end up buying.
Today we’re sharing our favorite beauty product samples that were so very good they convinced us to buy the full size.
01
Merit The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Foundation and Concealer Stick
Recommended by: Kate
$38
This is my favorite product to use when I want some coverage without full makeup face. I apply the stick where I have blemishes or redness and it blends perfectly into my skin.
02
LANEIGE Lip Sleep Mask
Recommended by: Jackie, Editorial Director
$24
I had heard about this LANEIGE lip mask a million times and never thought to buy it because my $3 lip balm from Target worked so well, thank you so much. But then I got a sample, diligently stretched its content over the course of two weeks, and really began to look forward to putting it out at night. The last step in my evening bath routine had just gotten immeasurably more indulgent, luxurious, and hydration-packed, and, well, you get the point: I was sold.
03
Undaria OSEA Algae Body Oil
Recommended by: Greta, content creator
$12 – $78
My mom’s friends gave me a sampler set of a bunch of OSEA products and this body oil was my favorite. I have bought the full size twice since then. I struggle with eczema and this is the only body product I have tried that does not irritate or further inflame it. The scent is so nice and natural and the oil is not greasy at all. I use it day and night and I love it!
04
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
Recommended By: Nancy, Executive Assistant
$40
I got the sampler size of this product for my birthday present from Sephora and I love it. It is the perfect setting powder in my opinion. It sets very well without looking too matte or dry.
05
Healthy Dual Detox Mask
Recommended by: Greta
$34
I tried the sample of this mascara and immediately bought the full size. It really unclogs my pores and helps reset my skin. without drying my face like so many other detox masks have. I use it two or three times a month. It’s a nice treat for my skin and it’s the only mask I’ve ever used that has given real results. (It’s also one of Kate’s favorite face masks!)
06
Saie Glowy Super Gel Light Dew Illuminator
Recommended by: Kate
$28
This is a great way to get that “no makeup glow”. I layer it under my tinted moisturizer and it creates a flawless illuminating effect.
07
Fenty Skin Hydra’Reset Intensive Recovery Glycerin Hand Mask
Recommended by: Jackie
$22
I tried this hand mask for the first time this winter and have continued to purchase it ever since. Applying this is the last thing I do before falling asleep at night and waking up with noticeably hydrated skin the next day. I even find myself applying less hand lotion throughout the day (which is saying a lot!).
08
Sunday Riley CEO Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil
Recommended by: Greta
$40 – $80
This face oil has really helped even out my skin texture. My skin absorbs it very well and it makes a good base for my serums and moisturizers.
