  • Potatoes: Russet, Baby, Fingerling, Red or Yellow potatoes.
  • Onion: Sweet onion, yellow or red (sweet is my favourite).
  • Peppers: Red, green, yellow orange bell peppers (optional).
  • Oil: Vegetable oil, canola oil, olive oil, or any oil of your choice. A high smoke point is best.
  • Seasonings of choice: See recommendations below.

How to Cook Blackstone Potatoes

  1. Preheat the flat top of the Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the diced potatoes, onions, and bell peppers with 2 tablespoons of the oil and seasonings. Mix well.
  3. Heat Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat. Generously oil the Blackstone griddle. Use a squeeze bottle of oil or a Blackstone spatula to spread.
  4. Arrange the potatoes on the Blackstone and spread them into an even layer.
  5. Cook for approximately 15-20 minutes (stir every few minutes) or until potatoes are soft with a crisp exterior.
  6. Remove the Blackstone potatoes from the griddle and enjoy!
