There’s something about having a fancy hot drink at a coffee shop that brightens your day.
But the reality is that those drinks can be quite pricey and expensive. Like many things, it’s a lot less expensive to make your own specialty latte at home!
We’ll show you how easy it is to make an Almond Joy latte, inspired by your favorite chocolate bar, including the options and adjustments you can make to suit your taste.
Whether you want an iced Almond Joy latte or prefer a steaming hot cup, making your own at home is an easy way to satisfy your sweet tooth without spending an arm and a leg on delicious drinks at coffee shops.

Almond Joy Latte – Hot or iced coffee
One of the best things about making your own drinks at home is that you can customize them to your liking.
Because an Almond Joy chocolate bar contains coconut and almonds, those are the main flavors here.
It also includes chocolate, so adding some chocolate sauce to your Almond Joy coffee is an optional (but tasty!) garnish.
We use coconut milk for our latte, but almond milk or regular cow’s milk are fine too, as they don’t affect the flavor as much.

How to make an almond latte
It’s so easy to make a special treat with just a few ingredients!
Ingredients you will need:
- espresso or coffee
- Coconut milk (or other milk of choice)
- coconut syrup
- Almond syrup or vanilla syrup
- Optional: ice cubes
- To decorate: whipped cream, chocolate syrup, coconut flakes, and chopped Almond Joy candy bars
How to do it:
Add coconut milk. First, you will add your milk to glasses or cups.

Add espresso or coffee. You will then combine your espresso or brewed coffee with the milk.

Add syrups. Add syrups, mix to combine. If desired, add ice.

Lastly this. Finally, you will decorate your drink as you wish. Whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate sauce, some coconut flakes, or chopped Almond Joy candy bars are great options!

Notes and adaptations:
- For more coconut flavor, we recommend using coconut espresso pods, coconut K-cups, or coconut-flavored coffee.
- We use Torani brand syrups, which can typically be found in the coffee aisle of most grocery stores.
- The amount of coconut milk will depend on the size of the cup/glass you use and whether you use espresso or coffee. If using coffee, start with 1/4 cup and add more from there. if using espresso, start with 1/2 cup and add more if needed.
- Coconut milk can be found in the refrigerated section in the milk section or alternative milks. We use Silk brand unsweetened coconut milk in this recipe. You can also use almond milk or regular cow’s milk.
