Kate’s Picks: 7 Things I Tried In February And Loved | wit and pleasure

February basically flew by thanks to a rigorous work schedule and being sick for two weeks. BUT! This month’s roundup of Things I’ve Tried and Loved remains one of my favorites. Each one of these products exceeded my expectations and was a great addition to my wardrobe, makeup kit, and life!

These are the seven things I liked the most in February…

1. Revlon Super Glossy Lipstick

$10

This is a great moisturizing lipstick in a classic shade of pink. (In my experience, a really moisturizing lipstick can be hard to find!) AND it’s a great price

2. Gap Modern Henley Shirt

$40

I love the cut of this shirt! The cotton fabric is thick and structured and is not see-through. This is a new staple piece in my wardrobe.

3. montage of bliss by Ling Ma

$22

This book was wild. As someone who has truly cinematic dreams, I found myself totally immersed in each story. Through the madness, you become disoriented and deeply moved, which is hard to get right. I loved reading it.

4. Joseon Beauty Sunscreen SPF 50

$19

This sunscreen is an absolute dream. The texture is very smooth and sinks into the skin immediately, leaving no trace of oil or white residue. It is also hydrating enough to be used as a base before makeup.

5. Mille Saffron Dress (Gifted)

$238

I recently picked up a couple things from Mille that filled out some wardrobe needs I have for spring and summer. I love this dress. It’ll work just as well over a bathing suit (hello, spring break!) as it does when you’re out for lunch.

6. Gemsme Cubic Zirconia Tennis Necklace

$23

This is a bit out of my general vibe, but I bought this necklace to try and add a bit of femininity to my tomboy outfits. It’s a great price for those of us who want to play adult dress-up but don’t want to commit to an investment piece in this style just yet!

7. H&M Open Hem Jeans

$30

These jeans are very flattering. I love the shape and that they have all the slimming qualities of skinny jeans but with a silhouette that doesn’t scream 2013.
