Fine Bedding Company Review
Optimizing Your Sleep Environment With The Fine Bedding Company

We all (should) know that sleep plays an essential role in optimizing our health and well-being, which means that poor or lack of sleep can cause a host of negative physical and mental side effects.

There can be any number of reasons behind a bad night’s sleep. From increased stress levels to excessive screen time (we’re all guilty, right?), many factors can interfere with our rest, but there are also many things you can do to improve it, starting with your previous routine. at bedtime and make your sleep environment comfortable.

I love talking about sleep, reading about sleep, and adjusting my healthy sleep habits to feel my best, so when The Fine Bedding Company contacted us about their luxury bedding, it was perfect as optimizing my sleep environment was an area I hadn’t really touched on yet, on the blog.

Invest in your sleeping environment

Having recently spent a week in a hotel I didn’t love, I have come to appreciate my own bed and sleeping environment even more. From having the most comfortable memory foam mattress, comfy pillows, a weighted blanket, sleep sounds from my Google Home mini to pillow sprays and aromatherapy balms.

Breathe duvet and Breathe pillows

A warm, uncomfortable environment or poor-quality bedding make it harder to fall asleep and can even cause you to wake up in the middle of the night. So if you and your sleeping space are cool, you’ll fall asleep faster.

Once the weather starts to warm up, I sleep with the window open to allow cool air to circulate at night and my goal is to spend 30 minutes under my duvet reading a good book before I go to sleep…

About the Fine Bedding Company

Fine Bedding Company’s top priority is sustainability and comfort. They are a 4th generation UK based company with their 100% zero waste eco friendly factory.

The Fine Bedding Co. has been producing premium down and innovative fiberfill bedding for over 100 years.

I hadn’t come across the brand before so I did my due diligence and once I saw them at John Lewis I knew they would be great quality products.

Breathe duvet and Breathe pillows

And they are.

Even without duvet covers and pillowcases, Breathe duvets and pillows look luxurious. I took the photos without caps of course to show them in all their glory!

Both the Breathe comforter and Breathe pillows are made with a combination of what The Fine Bedding Company calls Smartfil® and Modal technology, which is derived from natural wood pulp, making it exceptionally breathable.

The pillows are big and fluffy and I imagine they won’t lose their fullness over time. In fact, they look so big that you would think they would be uncomfortable, but once you place your head on the Breathe pillow, it sinks in perfectly and almost molds to your head and neck.

The Modal technology present in the pillows helps wick away moisture and allows you to enjoy a healthy sleep at a controlled temperature. So I’m assuming this means the pillows have been saving me from my own dribbling?! ha ha ha

If hotels had good pillows I would expect them to be from The Fine Bedding Company; that’s what they remind me of.

As we approached spring, I opted for the 10.5 tog twin duvet which should see me through the transitional months of spring and fall. My duvet collection already has a super light summer one and a thick cozy winter one, so this was the perfect addition.

The duvet features the same Modal technology, making it a temperature regulating duvet. It’s light, warm and doesn’t overheat me.

Sleep is one of the most important things you can do to improve recovery, boost the immune system, and improve your fitness with all your training efforts. However, healthy sleep isn’t just about getting enough sleep, it’s also about the quality of your sleep and how consistent your sleep is.

Is it time for you to update your bedtime routine? Have you tried any of The Fine Bedding Company products before?
